Rory Mitchinson is passionate about sport and country music, which explains why he presents both ‘Rory’s Country Playlist’ and ‘Saturday Sport’ on Radio Prudhoe.
Rory works for Newcastle United Football Club and previously worked at Gateshead Football Club and is passionate about football and sport in general. Alongside Colin Heathcote, Rory enjoys interviewing local sportspeople on their co-presented ‘Saturday Sport’ programme.
Rory has long enjoyed listening to country music and spends a lot of time in Tennessee, where he is able to watch country music being performed live in its birthplace. He showcases the best of country music, both old and new, in his Rory’s Country Playlist programme, available to hear live online or via the TuneIn app.
